Bourbon-Spiked Chili


  • 3/4 cup bourbon
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 onions (chopped)
  • 1 tbsp minced fresh garlic
  • 2 cans chopped tomatoes
  • 1/2 to 1 cup of beef broth
  • 2 cans kidney beans


Saute onions and garlic. Add in ground beef, once browned add in your seasonings; chili powder, cumin, paprika, and oregano. Toss in canned tomatoes and stir. After, add in your bourbon and beef broth. Let your chili simmer for 40 minutes. Add in your kidney beans and simmer for another 10 minutes; serve and enjoy!
